- ➤ Energy Saver NC offers rebates for home energy upgrades to lower electric bills and is now available in all counties; Gov. Josh Stein said eligible families in Hickory can save an estimated $1,000 a year while free energy assessments from contractors add safety — bolstering local jobs and economic growth. Go Foothills
