SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The Lenoir-Rhyne men’s tennis team kept its perfect conference record with a win by a 4 to 0 score over Mars Hill Saturday morning — boosting its season record to 5-1. The Bears will return home Monday to face #42 Columbus State at 1:00 p.m. WHKY
- ➤ The Lenoir-Rhyne women’s tennis team swept Mars Hill on Saturday afternoon, winning 7-0 and boosting their record to 8-1. The Bears will return on Monday to face Columbus State. WHKY
- ➤ On Friday, the Bears competed at the NCAA Division II Indoor National Championship, with Tobechukwu Nwokocha finishing second in the long jump and Havyn Spain advancing to the 200m final (5:45 p.m. Saturday). WHKY
- ➤ Lenoir-Rhyne women's lacrosse lost 19—8 to Florida Southern on Saturday morning, falling to a 2—5 record for the season. The Bears will travel to Catawba next Wednesday for their next conference game. WHKY
