  • On Wednesday, Apr. 1, local high schools played non-conference baseball — Lake Norman scored 4, Alexander Central 1, Piedmont Community Charter 6, Bandys 5, South Caldwell 2, and Lincoln Charter 1.  WHKY
  • Lenoir-Rhyne Bears defeated Tusculum Pioneers 19-5 on Wednesday after an 8:15 p.m. start delayed by weather. Donovan Powell led with four goals and three assists while Caleb Haire and Eli Busse earned their first hat tricks.  WHKY
