- ➤ Catawba County residents are urging county officials to study a possible school merger because little public information has been provided—residents warn that once the decision is made it will be final. Hickory Daily Record
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Frye Regional Medical Center reached a milestone today by completing over 500 minimally invasive implant procedures that reduce stroke risk in nonvalvular atrial fibrillation patients by sealing the left atrial appendage — board-certified cardiologist Ankur Tiwari led the procedure with a dedicated heart team.
