- ➤ The Lenoir-Rhyne women’s golf team finished seventh at the SAC Championships yesterday after posting a 949 total from rounds of 315, 317, and 317. Eve Neild tied for 12th individually while Charlotte Colley earned her second Elite 23 award, and medal match play will take place tomorrow. WHKY
- ➤ The CVCC Red Hawks swept a three-game series against Southwest Virginia at Henkel Alley Field + Hickory American Legion Fairgrounds on Saturday and Sunday. Sylas Mills and Pierce Bouwman broke the team career home run record and the team returns Wednesday for a home conference contest at 3 p.m. WHKY
- ➤ Lenoir-Rhyne junior Nellie Wahlberg was named SAC Women’s Tennis Player of the Week after winning singles and doubles matches during week nine — her victories helped secure the Bears’ No. 2 seed in the tournament. WHKY
- ➤ Lenoir-Rhyne track & field competed at the Southside Power & Fitness Invitational last weekend and honored 18 seniors during day two. The team broke school records in distance races, jumping events, and the pole vault throughout the competition. WHKY
- ➤ Lenoir-Rhyne women’s lacrosse swept the South Atlantic Conference awards for week nine when Abbey Walker was named Offensive Player of the Week and Delaney Williams earned Defensive Player of the Week, with the awards announced on April 13. WHKY
