ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Firefighters in Conover responded to a fire at Concordia Day School on 5th Avenue SE last Saturday and quickly controlled the blaze with help from agencies in Newton, Claremont, Oxford, and Hickory—one classroom was heavily damaged, adjoining areas suffered smoke damage, no injuries were reported, and the City Fire Marshal is investigating the cause.  WHKY
