- ➤ State health officials are set to cut up to $319 million in Medicaid funding as lawmakers continue delayed 2025-26 budget negotiations. - ➤ Former housing authority CEO Alanda Richardson filed a lawsuit against the city and housing board, alleging discrimination and breach of contract after her January termination — a move linked to plans to abolish the agency. The suit seeks more than $50,000 in damages and claims Richardson is owed severance pay under a contract addendum — which promised her double compensation if the agency were shut down.
