SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Lenoir-Rhyne’s Songa Yates earned the Special Teams Player of the Week award from the South Atlantic Conference on October 25 after he returned three punts, including a 70 yard touchdown, and caught five passes for 51 yards in a 45 to 0 win over Mars Hill—his strong play helped secure the victory. This marks the second player of the week honor for the Bears this season. WHKY
