- ➤ Renew NC reminds western homeowners that they have until Dec. 31 to apply for housing recovery assistance through its Single-Family Housing Program (assistance offered in English and Spanish) to rebuild homes after Hurricane Helene; application centers in Asheville, Boone, and Marion offer help.
